So, I normally don’t work on Wednesday but sometimes I remote into my work desktop and catch up on odds and ends.
Today, I had a chance to go through all the emails that I missed out on reading yesterday. Here’s one of them:

So as I said before, I’m building a wordpress theme for a few blogs. This is one theme that will be used for several blogs, mind you.
I didn’t want to make the css stylesheet since the design is going to be the same, but just on wordpress and not typepad. Therefore, I’m using the same stylesheet except “wordpressing” it. Despite my efforts to stay with the default widgets, I needed more customization for the css. Now generally, you can specify what tags you want in a widget (before/after title, before/after widget) but you can’t target a single widget with specific tags. What applies to one default widget, applies to the rest. The design just isn’t built that way unfortunately.
This led me to making my own, because I need that ability to put different div id/classes into the widgets. To keep the theme as together as possible, I’ve been abusing the include() function and storing the “templates” for the widgets in my theme folder.
I’m building a wordpress theme for a blog at work. So far, I’ve got the template down as the template was already pretty much built and I just needed to “wordpress” it, so to speak. However, I am finding that I may build my own custom widgets since a) I need a bit more customization than the given default widgets allow for and b) I need to be able to target widgets with specific CSS and wrap them in specific divs.
This will be an interesting thing for me to do. More to come as I make progress.
What’s next? Women on Venus?!
Maybe!
At work, I found this article that says that very soon after getting pass a few challenges, we can have a way of getting to Mars and back!
Here’s a simple xhtml/css template that I build a few weeks ago. The footer still needs to be stylized but the concept is there.

I’ve had my fair years of sharing living spaces with people. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of sharing a bathroom the first time I moved out of my mom’s place. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of having someone that had a dog. I’ve had the unfortunate experience renting a room from a family with kids. I will make a concise list about the things I’ve learned about myself and roommate situations. I’m sure there will be more to add as years go by.

So, tonight was the second night of someone calling me, out of the blue, from a restricted number, trying to have sex over the phone with me.
All I have to say is, not cool. Worse part about it is that even though I know it’s not my boyfriend, they pretend that they are. I hung up on them in a heart beat. The boyfriend always calls me from his cell phone.
